Account Setup
Establish your Cloud environment and configure core settings
- Log into magicinfoservices.com with your admin credentials
- Access the Cloud dashboard from your account menu
- Configure organisation settings: name, timezone, and regional defaults
- Set up user roles and permissions for your team
- Enable two-factor authentication for enhanced security

Device Registration
Register all displays in the Cloud platform
- In the Cloud dashboard, navigate to Devices or Device Management
- Add each display with its MAC address and location information
- Generate unique device tokens for each display
- Download and install MagicINFO Player on each display (compatible with your hardware)
- Configure player settings with Cloud connection details and device token

Content Migration
Transfer your content library to the Cloud platform
- Export all content from your On-Premise server (videos, images, templates)
- Organise content into folders matching your Cloud structure
- Verify file compatibility with MagicINFO Cloud (supported formats: MP4, PNG, JPG, PDF, and more)
- Upload content to the Cloud media library using bulk upload or API
- Validate all files have uploaded correctly and are playable

Schedule Migration
Recreate your playlists and scheduling rules in the Cloud
- Create device groups to organise displays by location or function
- Recreate playlists and schedule templates from your On-Premise system
- Assign content to device groups with appropriate playback rules
- Configure timezone and daylight saving settings for each region
- Set up recurring schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal)

Testing
Validate your Cloud configuration before full deployment
- Run parallel testing with old and new systems running simultaneously
- Verify content plays correctly on all display types and resolutions
- Test remote management capabilities (start, stop, restart displays)
- Confirm scheduling logic executes as expected across timezones
- Check player responsiveness and network connectivity
- Monitor system performance under typical usage loads

Go Live
Activate your Cloud environment and decommission On-Premise
- Switch DNS or network settings to route displays to the Cloud platform
- Verify all displays reconnect and begin receiving Cloud-based schedules
- Monitor the system closely during the first 24 hours of live operation
- Decommission your On-Premise server once all displays report successfully
- Archive On-Premise backup data for compliance and audit purposes
Post-Migration Checklist
- All displays online and reporting to the Cloud platform
- Remote management commands executing successfully
- User access levels configured correctly (admin, operator, viewer)
- On-Premise backup archived and documented
- Team trained on Cloud dashboard and new procedures
