Moving from MagicINFO On-Premise
to Samsung VXT
MagicINFO On-Premise is approaching end of life. Planning the transition early helps avoid disruption. VXT provides a cloud-based alternative with reduced maintenance and greater flexibility.
What Samsung VXT Adds Beyond MagicINFO On-Premise
Samsung VXT is not just a replacement. It is a next-generation platform built on Samsung VXT 4.0 with capabilities MagicINFO On-Premise was never designed for.
AI-Powered Content Generation
Automatically generate and optimise display content using advanced AI. Reduce creation time and improve visual quality without design resources.
CMS Transformer
Automated migration from MagicINFO On-Premise. Converts existing configurations, templates, and schedules directly into VXT format.
Advanced Energy Management
Real-time monitoring and optimisation of display power consumption. Cut energy costs and support sustainability targets across the network.
Enhanced Remote Management
Extensive remote device control including power, panel status, input source, volume, firmware updates, and live content view from a single dashboard.
Cloud-Native Platform
Built for scalability and reliability from the ground up. Faster updates, better uptime, and no on-premise server maintenance required.
Playback Reporting
VXT provides playback statistics in plain text format. Graphical reporting dashboards are not currently available but can be achieved via the PowerBI integration.

Important Considerations
A few things to keep in mind when evaluating VXT as a migration path.
Multi-Platform Support
VXT supports Android, Windows, and web platforms. It is not limited to Samsung Tizen hardware.
Cloud-Only Platform
VXT is cloud-hosted with no on-premise deployment option. All management happens through the cloud platform.
Legacy Hardware
VXT requires modern displays. Older S3/S4 hardware is not supported. If legacy devices are in use, a hardware refresh or external player may be needed.
Feature Gaps
Conditional scheduling, smart scheduling, overlay messages, and graphical reporting are not available in VXT. Streaming content is planned for a future release.
